FAQs on Building a Wizard in Xenimus

This FAQ was made for version 1.62b.

Q: What is the best race for a wizard?

A: I'd say Gnome.

Ok to build a warlock, there’s not really any big choices you need to make.

To help on the thought let me tell you about wizards.

#1. Wizard only spell (leveling spell) is based on intel.

#2. A wizard's mp is based on intel.

#3. Moon beam is based on intel

#4. How much experience you gain is based on intel.

#5. Resistances are based on wisdom.

So lets make a Wizard.

Call it what you want. And we’ll make him a Gnome.

Start with these stats:

STR: 10

AGI: 10

CON: 16

INT: 18

WIS: 21

Then if you can get someone to take you to all the shrines including great hall making your stats.

STR: 12

AGI: 12

CON: 18

INT: 20

WIS: 23

These are the points we will put on the character to level 6. (Starting from Level 2)

For an all intel wizard:

2: +1 con

3: +1 con

4: +1 con

5: +1 wis

6 and higher all intel

Your chars stats at level 6 will now be.

STR: 12

AGI: 12

CON: 21

INT: 21

WIS: 24

So far it will be a decent char.

If you wonder why I say to add 24 wisdom to an intel build it's so you can meet the wisdom requirement for all staffs.

If you followed the path I told you in this guide you’ll have a decent character.
